Holker Old Boys AFC will welcome North Shields to Rakesmoor Lane in the Third Round Proper of the FA Vase.

North Shields, known as The Robins, currently compete in the Northern League Division One and have an impressive history in national cup competitions.

Originally formed as North Shields Athletic in 1896, the club famously won the FA Amateur Cup at Wembley in 1969, before returning to the national stadium in 2015 to lift the FA Vase following a 2–1 victory over Glossop North End.

Both clubs progressed from the Second Round following penalty shootout victories. Holker overcame Winsford United 4–3 on penalties after a 1–1 draw, while North Shields defeated Brigg Town by the same shootout score following a 2–2 draw.

The tie is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 28th November 2026, with the victorious club receiving £1,125 and the losing side receiving £350.
