Yesterdays game against a well organised and technically good Litherland team was a good measure of where we are ahead of the season.

Litherland was a fixture we were looking forward to as we knew they were going to provide us with a tough test and the lads proved that the intensity at training is being translated into games and they were rewarded with a great result.

The lads set themselves a standard of performance yesterday that we fully expect them to achieve week in, week out and we still have a few key players to bring back in that will only make us stronger.
